Grievance Redressal Mechanism
In compliance with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, Indifact News has established a three-tier Grievance Redressal Mechanism to address any reader complaints or grievances regarding the content on our website.
Level I: Grievance Officer
Any person with a grievance regarding the content published on https://indifactnews.com/ may file a complaint with our designated Grievance Officer.

Procedure for Filing a Complaint:
- The complaint must be made within a reasonable time from the date of publication of the content.
- The complaint must include the following information:
- Full name and contact details of the complainant (Email, Phone Number).
- A direct link to the article or content in question.
- A clear statement describing the grievance and explaining which principle of the Code of Ethics has been violated.
- Sufficient documentation or evidence to support the grievance.
Resolution Process:
- The Grievance Officer will generate an acknowledgment of the complaint within 24 hours of its receipt.
- We are committed to resolving the grievance as expeditiously as possible, and in any case, within 15 days from the date of its receipt.
- The decision of the Grievance Officer will be communicated to the complainant.
Level II: Self-Regulatory Body
If the complainant is not satisfied with the decision from Level I, or if the grievance is not resolved within the stipulated time, they have the right to appeal to the self-regulatory body of which Indifact News is a member.
Level III: Oversight Mechanism of the Government of India
The Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, provides for an oversight mechanism formulated by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India.
