THE STORY OF IT ALL
Fuaark is a Surat-based gym wear and fitness brand that was founded in 2017 and provides well-researched, high-quality, and high-performance clothing. As of 2025, the brand’s monthly revenue run rate is Rs 6 crore. Rimpy Juneja, a Surat native, graduated with honors from Delhi University with a BCom. He married Swati Juneja, a BCom graduate as well.
I worked for my father’s company for a few years after graduating from college. But for some reason, I felt compelled to take action on my own. Swati also desired to launch a company. As we began our market research, we found that we had a strong interest in the fitness sector. I became a third-generation business owner as a result,” says Rimpy Juneja. Clothing for gym-goers was being produced by brands, but not with complete focus. Swati Juneja tells Indifact News, “They were experimenting with athleisure, graphic tees, etc.
The husband and wife team made the decision to start Fuaark in 2017. Rimpy, who was entirely self-sufficient with Rs 10 lakh, borrowed Rs 4 lakh from his father and used his savings to invest the remaining Rs 6 lakh. Over the course of the following six months, the business owners finalized the fabric that would be used to create the clothing for their company. Finding premium fabric that would fit snugly and improve gym performance was the first priority.
At last, we focused on the facility that provides materials to companies like Adidas and Nike. The founder of the firm, Rimpy Juneja, tells Indifact News, “We then hired designers and manufacturers who understood our vision of providing premium gym wear that feels especially made for each body, not general-for-all.” Saket Juneja, Rimpy’s brother, soon became a third co-founder. He was an area manager for companies like Tommy Hilfiger in the past.

JOURNEY AND DIFFICULTIES
Fuaark started creating gym clothes that fit people’s bodies after focusing on high-quality fabric that is sweat-wicking and gentle on the skin. Fuaark’s clothing is longer in addition to being flexible. The inventors claim that this guarantees that when people perform pullups, dumbbell presses, bench presses, squats, and deadlifts in the gym, t-shirts, tanks, and shorts won’t ride up.

We can really relate to people who work out. They are our primary target market, and we don’t complete any design until we have a thorough understanding of the precise use case for which our clients will utilize the clothing or product. Fuaark emphasizes a tapered fit that hugs the body in all the correct places, in contrast to the box-like fits found in most fitness brands. Furthermore, the tight fit is made in a way that prevents suffocation.
Because we only produced clothing for gym patrons and not the entire public, we were able to do this. The better the innovation, the narrower the niche. Additionally, we’ve discovered that tight fits increase people’s motivation to work out.
Fuaark operated exclusively through its website for about a year and a half. We didn’t have a marketplace registration at the time. And that turned out to be difficult. We believed we were scaling the website, but our efforts didn’t provide the desired results because we didn’t have a strong online presence.
Fuaark started registering on e-commerce sites like Amazon, Flipkart, and Myntra in May 2018. Saket, Swati, and Rimpy increased their efforts to fully comprehend the fitness market and figure out the product-market match.
By 2020, they had begun using influencer marketing to develop their brand. We once collaborated with around seventy-five influencers. We didn’t have to spend a lot of money because there wasn’t another brand in the gym industry at the time. For us, even barter partnerships were turning into actual transactions. From then on, things took off, and Fuaark gained popularity in fitness, gym, and health center communities. By 2022, Fuaark had worked with online celebrities like Asim Riaz and served over one lakh consumers.
Fuaark concentrated on branding and distribution in 2023. Bollywood star Kunal Khemu was brought on as a brand ambassador by the creators, who also established warehouses in six Indian cities.
We have more than two lakh customers by 2023.

FUAARK: FOR DAILY HIGH-PERFORMANCE EXERCISES
These days, Fuaark is a high-end fitness and gym wear company that sells well-researched, high-quality, and high-performance clothing. The Compression t-shirt, which improves the appearance and feel of muscles, abs, waist, and arms, has been one of its best-selling items.
For guys, Fuaark offers alternatives for top wear, bottom wear, and inner wear. There are buckets in the same category for women. From sports bras and tank tops to compression t-shirts, jackets, hoodies, and classic joggers, the high-end gym wear and fitness brand has everything an athlete or gym-goer might want. The founders have added stylish socks, backpacks, and caps to the accessory line.
FUTURE AND GROWTH
Fuaark’s revenue figures have steadily increased since its founding. Even though it took them nine or ten months to reach one crore in sales in 2017, they have been growing annually. Fuaark recorded an annual revenue of 5.85 crore in FY21. In FY22, FY23, and FY24, this amount increased to Rs 12 crore, Rs 23 crore, and Rs 40 crore, respectively.
Fuaark’s own website generates about 42% of its revenue, with the remaining 58% coming via e-commerce and fast commerce sites like Amazon, Myntra, and Zepto. 34% of the high-end fitness and gym clothing brand’s sales are repeat purchases.
Fuaark was chosen to pitch on Shark Tank India in 2023 as well, but their episode was removed from the main broadcast. We were thrilled to be chosen from a list of 8 lakh businesses. It’s okay that we didn’t make it to the final cut. I kept making jokes and saying things like, “Fuaark, as not seen on Shark Tank India.”
As of 2025, Fuaark’s monthly revenue run rate is 6 crore.
The upscale gym clothing and fitness firm employs more than 70 individuals and has an opulent office space that is 25,000 square feet in total (including the warehouse). To put things in perspective, Fuaark started up with just six employees, including the founders. The founders of Fuaark confirm that the company has been profitable and bootstrapped since its founding, having served over a million consumers to date.
Next, Fuaark intends to expand quickly in order to broaden its distribution over all of India. Additionally, the firm plans to enter the offline market by opening a physical store in Bengaluru. We are creating a fitness revolution that helps individuals become healthier, better versions of themselves. However, there is no pressure to adhere to any body standard. Fuaark will dress you in the finest clothing as you work out. It’s just you and your concept.
