Even though the Short n’ Sweet tour isn’t nearly finished yet, Sabrina Carpenter has already begun planning her next project for tomorrow night’s final performance. It was revealed earlier this month that the musician and former Disney Channel star would be returning to acting in a musical film that will be based on Lewis Caroll’s Alice in Wonderland. Carpenter, who was recently nominated for 6 Grammy awards, was confirmed to not only star in the project, but serve as a producer as well. Additionally, it appears that she has already begun to develop her persona based on her most recent Instagram post.
Sabrina Carpenter gave a behind-the-scenes glimpse of her off-stage activities yesterday in between back-to-back shows in Los Angeles, one of which involved “arresting” Dakota and Elle Fanning. Along with spending time with Paul McCartney (!!!), friends like Joey King, a cute kitty, and her Stevie Nicks “Bella Donna” Barbie, almost every other picture in the photo dump had one hue.
Since her conception in 1865, Alice from Alice in Wonderland has been portrayed in a variety of ways. However, her most iconic appearance has undoubtedly been her distinctive blue dress, which is fastened at the waist with a white apron and matching striped tights. Approximately 160 years later, Carpenter has added her own unique touch to the style.
The artist, wearing a bright blue short-sleeve sweater minidress from Chanel, posed for a mirror selfie in the lead photo. Later, she chose a chilly ’90s puffer from the same design company to wear with Gigi Hadid’s Guest in Residence checkered scarf; in a third mirror photo, she looked stunning in a pale teal dress.
